The Profile

There is a sprint located in Culcairn before the railway line and it is typically take out by a limit rider. The sprint which is sponsored by Culcarin Foodworks is well signed.

A drink station for the provision of bidons (water bottles) is located in Culcairn, west of the Olympic Highway on Balfour Street. It is the rider’s responsibility to organise a supporter to pass them their bidons. It is highly recommended that you practice handing of bidons with your supporter prior to the race.

When you hit the top of Jindera Gap there is just 5km of downhill riding until the finish line. When you round the roundabout it is just 800 metres until the final sprint in front of the Lavington Town Hall. To ensure the safety of participants, spectators and the public there is a full road closure for the final sprint.

Lavington Hall at the completion of the race. Lavington Hall is located at the corner of Urana Rd and Hague Streets in Lavington.

This is the place to watch the sprint finish and enjoy a nice hot coffee from the coffee van. Presentation, return of race numbers and collection of licences occurs in the Hall.
